Most kids love chips and they always make a solid addition to school lunch. Every snack listed here is dairy-free and soy-free.
Make sure to review ingredient labels before consuming as these brands produce several products, but not all are allergy-friendly.
Corn Chips
Mi Niña (White Corn)
Mi Niña has several allergy-friendly options, but their white corn chips are my absolute favorite. They've got just the right crunch without being too salty and cut to the perfect size for people like me who have a small mouth.
Siete (Sea Salt)
These chips are made grain-free and with avocado oil. We've had them a few times and enjoyed them. I've also seen several people on dairy-free and soy-free Facebook groups recommend these.
Tostitos (Lightly Salted)
Tostitos makes several tasty chips, but the lightly salted ones are always reliable and if you like a bigger-sized chip, then these are for you. Their website also does a good job of explaining which allergens each product is free from in the Nutrition section. I'd rank their Scoops as a close second option since they make dipping in condiments a lot less messy.
Xochitl (Sea Salt)
What makes this product stand out is that the chips are very thin and almost flaky. They remind me of the chips you'd find in restaurants that serve Mexican food.
Veggie Straws
Garden Veggie Straws (Sea Salt)
Great for a healthy school lunch snack. These are made with avocado oil and are cut a little on the thicker side with just the right amount of salt.
Trader Joe's Veggie Sticks
TJ's veggie sticks are sold in a 6 ounce bag just like Garden Veggie Straws, but I find they seem to last a bit longer before we run out. It might be because they're cut thinner.
