
My name is Seth and I've been cooking dairy- and soy-free meals for over a decade. My son has severe allergies so I know exactly what it's like to be weary of "kid-friendly" foods if I can't read the labels.
Like other parents navigating these food allergies, I've struggled to simply feed my child well at times due to the constraints we face. For years, one of the only safe chain options on the road has been McDonald’s nuggets and fries.
Let's just say, we've been at this so long that my son drank hemp milk before oat milk was even a thing. And it was expensive!
But now, I'm on a mission to turn the tables on these allergies and push back by sharing what I've learned about safe recipes, substitutes and snacks in the last decade as a parent, cook, and consumer who simply wants to help other families in the same boat.
