- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook pasta as directed.
- Peel and trim both shallots, dice and set aside.
- Remove pot from heat. Add shallots + lemon dressing to pot. Turn pasta over with tongs several times.

For a creamier finish, add a slice or two of dairy-free and soy-free butter to the pasta after it's done cooking and before you add the remaining wet ingredients.
Garnish with basil to add a little green to this dish.
